Physical Security
AFP provides expertise in developing and employing physical and procedural security measures in a deliberate approach based on threat analysis to detect, deter, and defend the full spectrum of people, property, equipment, facilities, material, and information against terrorists and criminals.
We develop physical measures which integrate personnel and security equipment to reduce vulnerability to the threat; test the integrated procedures and measures during the exercise of plans; and train of security guards in executing external and internal security requirements.
Emergency Response Planning
The unpredictability of terrorists and criminals to attack personnel, property and infrastructure require the development of detailed and executable contingency plans.
AFP has the experience to develop and implement affordable, effective, and attainable response plans to assist with damage control in the event of crises. We offer detailed planning through assessment of the threat, vulnerability of personnel or facilities, criticality of personnel or facilities, and availability of security resources.
Mission Analysis
When given a specific requirement it is important to know and understand the realm of terrorist and criminal threats which can impact completion of that requirement.
AFP can conduct detail reviews of threat and criminal scenarios through a deliberate process which takes into consideration the situation, environment, and other variables that can affect the successful outcome of a mission. In conducting the analysis, we draw from various resources to include first responders, local intelligence agencies, intelligence and investigative agencies of the uniformed services, and Federal security and law enforcement agencies in order to anticipate the most likely threat in the geographic area.
Risk and Vulnerability Assessment
People, facilities, installations, residences or office buildings cannot determine the broad range of physical threats from possible terrorist or criminal elements unless a proper assessment is conducted to identify vulnerabilities and the associated risks in implementing various protective and response plans.
AFP experts conduct assessments to arrive at firm decisions when planning or coordinating a security mission or operation. Our detailed vulnerability and risk assessments will aid the customer in identifying hazards, assess the initial risk of those hazards, and make informed decisions about committing resources or enacting policies and procedures to define the risk or mitigate the threat.
Perimeter Defense
Protection of people, facilities, equipment and information are critical to our customers. In addition to delivering sound plans and executable policies and procedures, one of AFP’s core competencies is to provide armed and unarmed security officers for various venues including federal, state and local government facilities. AFP recruits, selects, trains and manages all security officers placed at your site.

Training Technologies
AFP employs a variety of training technologies and methods into the design of our advanced training programs. Our AFP ProStar Training Program™ is available to all security officers through online access.
American Force Protection mission-focused training approach prepares our security officers to achieve the highest performance standards. We first train our security officers for post assignment and then promote development through in-service and training and continuing education.
